The University of Alicante (UA) was founded in 1979. Being one of the youngest universities in Spain, the UA is also considered one of the most innovative and fastest developing in Spain. More than 30000 national & 3000 international students are enrolled in 7 Faculties offering more than 50 degrees in all fields of study.

The Institute of Educational Sciences of the University of Alicante (ICE), has been part of the University of Alicante since its origins, which gives it extensive experience as a competent university body for teaching support. It currently depends on the Vice President for Digital Transformation. Its main objectives are:

– Permanent teacher training or teacher professional development at all educational levels.

– Educational innovation, both in face-to-face, blended and online teaching.

The Redes-I3CE program expresses the vocation of the University of Alicante, from the Office of the Vice President for Educational Quality and Innovation and through the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE), for the improvement of educational quality and innovation in Higher Education. The Redes-I3CE program starts from the basis that educational quality must be rooted in rigorous research and innovation to improve the teacher / student relationship, the creation and transfer of knowledge at the service of improving Education.

University of Alicante serves to the following tasks-

  • Manage the train the trainer training module in its University campus
  • Suggest the strategies for making the COE for teaching learning operational
  • Guide project leader in the various scope of project management.
  • Prepare, host and deliver the training modules for staff and key decision makers in the project
