AIDEdu project’s focused discussion and brain storming meeting for Work Package 1 Questionnaire preparation and methodology planning meeting at Global College International, Kathmandu. The purpose of WP1 is to design a framework for quality teaching learning practices like blended learning that will create an equal accessibility and opportunities across HEIs. This can be done through step by step methodology definition, collection of firsthand information and analysis along with systematic investigation of published literature in reputed journals and periodicals, reports, case studies and discussions and deliberations with the experts working in the field of higher education. The objective of this WP is to ensure that the education they offer meets the expectations of students and the requirements of employers, both today and for the future. Higher education institutions are complex organizations where the institution-wide vision and strategy needs to be well-aligned with bottom-up practices and innovations in teaching and learning. Developing institutions as effective learning communities where excellent pedagogical practices are developed and shared also requires leadership, collaboration and ways to address tensions between innovators and those reluctant to change. A proper study will be done to understand the contribution of the government in inclusive and equitable education for higher education and promoting the best practices in the countries of the partner institutions. The partner institutions will assess the government schemes, policies, project that will complement and increases the opportunity for promoting best practices in education especially with the help of remote technology.
